Searching catagories content…

Search box does not search catagory pages - This is not an error on the part of Wordpress, as they clearly state in there instructions that catagory pages exist outside the realm of the blog. In plain English that simply means that catagory page content cannot be searched for by the Wordpress search box.

A surfer who lands on your website will not be able to find any content that is located in any of your fancy catagory pages, you spent days designing and building. Also remember that the search box only searches keyword content that is a part of “post titles”, not the content of the blog page.

But there is a very simple solution to this… copy the content of the catagory pages to your blog as a normal post. Just like you would with any other post. Now when you do a keyword search of your site, you will be able to find the results you want because they are contained in a "posted page" as opposed to a "catagory page".
