Streaming Movies To My Blog

This is , I believe the last time I will need to do a test of displaying a movie on my blog. Decided on using Real Player because it streams the video to the webpage, so you get to view the movie as it downloads. I know that there are going to be problems with some viewers not having Real Player loaded onto there computer, but that goes just the same for all the other types of viewers available, such as Apple Quick Time and Windows Media Viewer.

This test used a 15 second movie clip recorded on my mobile phone and then repeated 4 times. ( I know that’s boring, but hey! its just a test) The clip ended up 258kb after converting the file backwards and forwards when editing in Windows Movie Maker…. .3gp to .wmv and then finish with .rm. Video quality is not very good, but that’s mainly because I wanted to get it to work first. Quality is my next learning curve.
